Food is great and service .. music is little to loud to even talk or have a conversation .

Ordered the Lobster Ravioli which was delicious, but the shrimps were overcooked. The waitress Cassandra was badass and attentive. I love the fact she gave my nephew and I space to catch up on things. She wasn't in a rush to get us in and out. Love that. Thank you.

Ricardo’s Steak House never disappoints! From the moment we walked in, the energy was lively and the atmosphere was warm and inviting — truly a Harlem gem. The food was absolutely incredible — perfectly cooked steaks, flavorful sides, and everything came out hot and fresh. What really made the night extra special was our waitress, Melina. She was outstanding! So attentive, warm, and personable. She made us feel like VIPs from start to finish, checking in just the right amount and offering great recommendations. Her service was seamless and genuine, and you could tell she really cared about making our experience a great one. I’ll definitely be coming back — Ricardo’s is hands-down one of the best dining spots uptown, and Melina is a star!

Okay let’s start by talking about the service. I called to make a reservation for my birthday and no one answered. BUT THEN I got a call back immediately from a wonderful concierge/host named Chris. Chris was so dutiful, gave me excellent advice on dates and times, helped me pick the best table, offered me insight on the peak hours of business (for my birthday of course we want the best!) Chris did not let me down at all!! Held my hand through the process, was super patient when I needed to call the restaurant 4 times in one night, helped me reserve space for 2 events!! and offered me an honest opinion when I asked for it!! things a good-natured person would do any day, Chris is the bomb dot com!! make sure to say hello when you stop by. oh, the music and the food are excellent too !!

I love everything about Ricardo's!!! The vibe, the atmosphere, the MUSIC!!! I went for mother's Day with my mother and a bunch of her friends and when I tell you we had a time, a TIME WAS HAD!!! I would definitely go again and definitely recommend friends and family. The staff were on point and nice. My only thing I would say is that just a little more alcohol in the alcohol beverages other than that, I'm a happy customer!!! Oh and there's a professional photographer there as well with great prices for photos.

As always Ricardo’s is a vibe, the food came out and the carb cakes are my go to ! I had the Ricardo’s special meal also and I felt the chicken could have used a little more seasoning, the steak was cooked to perfection. The drinks are always hitting and the music is always on point. I love the new little outside seating area they have.

I had a great experience celebrating my son’s 12th birthday. The waiter was very attentive I forgot his name but he was GREAT!! The atmosphere was comfortable while playing music. I highly suggest reservations if you have a party of over 4 people. I went on a Thursday around 5pm and the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Let’s talk about the entrees: I ordered the lamb chops with spinach. The lamb chops were tender and seasoned well! I highly recommend it!! The spinach was sautéed with garlic, delicious!!! My son ordered the pork chops and he said it was so good !! It was his first time eating grilled pork chops remind you he’s a picky eater. My daughter had Alfredo with salmon and she barely had leftovers. I ordered you don’t know Jack cocktail, it was refreshing. I don’t have any complaints but again I highly recommend reservations, especially on weekends.

Everything here was amazing! Even though they were doing construction when we walked in, you couldn’t even tell the atmosphere was everything! We were able to sit outside on the first day the weather got nice. Today was I think 75 so we were excited to sit outside! The food we ordered was the shrimp and grits , the lamb chops with a side of roasted potatoes and eggs as well as the platter they have on the menu! The music was great! It’s giving family and friends vibe as far as the crowd ! We will be back to celebrate another girls day!

It’s always a great vibe at Ricardo’s. On Sunday we weee celebrating my niece and nephews birthday and we all had a great time . It was my nephew’s first time and he left feeling full and happy !!

Came from VA to my neice bday dinner...was about 20 of us....seating is tight, music was good, fairly loud, multiple celebrations as well. Staff attentive and food came out pretty quick. My husband and I had the sea bass dinner.. Sometime Foods for large parties cool off but it was delish and hot! We Ubered so didn't need to look for parking which seems limited. If u want a quiet Steakhouse restaurant this ain't it...if u want a vibe and atmosphere this is it! Had a good time!!

Let me start by saying that I love, love, love this place! I've been going here every year for my birthday for about the past 6-7 years, but have been a patron for over a decade! They have excellent service all around. Ricardo's is an enjoyable time with tasty food. Always a great birthday spot! I recently had a slight slip up with a new server that didn't inform me that I had tipped twice. but after some calls to the office, I came in and was helped by Carlos, who was very quick to help refund the bonus tip. Mistakes happen and they were very helpful in resolving it. I enjoy this place and will be back for any reason (casual dining, birthday, etc.) - signed a loyal Ricardo's diner!

My daughter held a brunch for my birthday. Family and friends came out to celebrate and enjoy life. Some of the food was good, but my husband's and son's steak was very tough to cut, but everyone else enjoyed their food. The Unlimited Mimosas was very tangy. I'm definitely coming back to try their Happy Hour.

The place is too small, the wait is way to long even with a reservation but the staff was excellent and food could use a bit more seasoning.

The food and drinks here are always on point. If you order a steak, you are able to take it home reheated, and it still tastes the same. Unlike other restaurants where your steak ends up being hard as a rock.. The bartenders are great. Now for the service. Tips and service charges are added to the bill. So if you're by yourself best, believe your bill will be at least 75$. I notice the servers aren't attentive due to the tips being added. So, if you are looking for the server to check on you constantly, you're sadly mistaken.The water comes around often. It's like a party type scene. So if you want to celebrate your bday this is a great place to celebrate. If you like quiet and classy, this isn't the place to be. It the hood steak house, to be honest..Otherwise I'm never disappointed when I come here. Now that a service charge on top of tip is added now. It's more expensive. So if your bill looks more than what you order, this is why.

My husband and came to NY for the weekend and went for his birthday last night. The vibe was awesome. You could tell regulars were in there or that they just knew each other from around the way either way it was nice. The best thing to do is definitely make a reservation otherwise the wait is crazy or you might get turned away. The service was great they checked on you almost every 6-7 minutes filling up your waters, relighting the candle on your table etc. The food was great it came out super hot not just waiting in the window. I ordered pasta but wished I had ordered what the other tables around me had ordered. My food was good but theirs looked great. I recommend you going there. It was worth the price. The drinks were good as well. I didn’t take a picture of my pasta.

Food was delicious. You get alot more food for your money compared to the ala carte prices at the Midtown Steakhouses. Atmosphere is definitely different with the dj but the music was tasteful for us ol skool heads.

Owned by POC (people of color) and EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection! Steak was butter! Normally we have steak houses under cook our food (because most places don't cook to temperature), however we ordered medium rare plus (because we wanted it medium) and it came out exactly like we ordered and we had to send it back to be cooked a little longer. Love this place!

The food was okay.... nothing to write home about. However, what the food lacked, they made up in drinks and customer service. Our server was very attentive, made sure the drinks kept flowing, and that we were satisfied. Of course the DJ kept the vibes going the entire time. Also shoutout to the photographer, Kyle, for helping us capture the memories. He was very kind, giving us direction to optimize the photo op. Here's where we had a problem... the speaker in the back was distorted and just blaring at peak levels. That made for a horrible audio experience. The DJ could do his best, but terrible speakers sure break the energy!

The wait staff was so busy that she stopped while bringing patrons to their seats to see if we needed anything and she saw that it was sent immediately. The food was very good. I only had the pancakes and chicken strips, but the strips were very moist. The only thing I didn't like about them was the batter they use has a little sweetness to it and it kind of throw the flavor off (for me). If you like a sweet chicken, then it may be perfect for you. Someone with me had the Porter house, which was really good. For those who will understand this, it kind of reminded me of Tad's honestly. The lamb chops looked great. Update: The Lamb chops are delicious. The shrimp and grits were good. Surprisingly the grits were cooked almost perfectly, the skirt steak and eggs were good also according to my cousin. Finally, for food, the burger was delicious, according to someone, but the fries lacked crunch. Update: fries ate really good. They are shoe string fries though just an fyi. Now do not order the peach white Sangria, I have never in my life had Sangria with lime and mint leaves like I asked for a Sangria, not a mojito. It was 100% weird and not so good. The Daiquiris were good. Overall a nice time out, but you have to make reservations because if you don't get there when they open without a reservation you will not eat. Happy eating...

Good music, great food and very attentive staff.

Every time I come here it's packed; and, for a reason. The food is always great and drinks are always good. And, the wait for a table is always worth it. Please try the Ricardo salad with a few lollipop lamb chops on the side. This is my favorite combo meal here with one of their signature cocktails. The service is good and the hostesses are really friendly and accommodating!

Went for a weekend brunch with a large group for a birthday celebration and everything went pretty well considering how busy they were. Food was amazing. Service was good considering our party size and just how busy they were, but could’ve been a bit more attentive.

I really love Ricardo Steakhouse this Sunday 11/17/24. I spent a great afternoon with my lady and the food where great along with the services. And the atmosphere where great. If you in Harlem this is the Steakhouse to go to with your love one.

They give you an option to get a dessert if your celebrating a birthday comes out with sparkler and they play birthday music!!! We had a great time!! Definitely coming back here.

The food was absolutely delicious. My only issue issue is the wild amount of people packed in such a small venue. When it's that packed, perhapse let folks know it's filled to capacity. I'd definitely come back on a lighter day though.

One of the nicest places I have been to in terms of Food, Service and of course Atmosphere. They have a live DJ which was really nice. This place is a must! Whether it’s a date night or out with your friends, I highly recommend this place 10/10.

Ricardo Steakhouse has never disappointed. I go for brunch and for dinner quiet often. Whenever my family or friends from out of town come to visit Ricardo Steakhouse is where I bring them. The Lamb Chops off Lex with Sautéed Spinach is my go-to entree.

What a breathe of fresh air, to go to a restaurant and everything was so amazing. The food was beautiful. I had an uptown ribeye. Cream spinach. With a Lucy me home. My husband had the salmon. He said it was the most flavorful dish he had in a while. Amazing date night.

Oh my goodness, was this place a gem. I don't know if it's black owned, but it seemed dedicated to building an atmosphere with some rich culture. The music was fun, and the venue was lit up! I went there for the birthday party of a dear friend and it was a beautiful place to celebrate. We got the mango and passionfruit sangria. They were delicious and easy to take down . Not to mention, I had the best salad of my life there. The empanadas were juicy but still crisp. The red snapper with mashed potatoes literally melts in your mouth. And the desert was spectacular. If you are looking for a place to toast and get bubbly, this is it.

A Harlem staple…..

I went to Ricardo's for my birthday 6/30/24. I had a party of 20 people celebrating with me. My reservations were for 8:00pm. We did not get seated until 8:55pm. I was not very happy about this. They should do better than this. Not to mention our group spent over $2500. Your restaurant should want continued patronage. Otherwise the food and service was good.

Hands down some of the best food in Harlem is at Ricardo's. My dish was the snapper and I added the garlic spinach. It was just fantastic. The music is rocking and the atmosphere is exciting. Will come back.

I have been to many places where the first experience blew my mind.. and the second and third were awful. So I always reserve judgment until I try something again. I have finally revisited Ricardo's and let me tell you... With no reservations... YOU MUST COME HERE. The food is consistently outstanding. The subtle hints of Harlem in every bite are scrumptious. The music is AWESOME (If you don't like loud music prepare yourself). Outside of the seating organization needing some tightening, Ricardo's is damn near perfect. And you owe it yourself and your stomach to visit this place.
