For years, there had been a need in East Harlem for a trendy establishment that offered delicious food in a chic ambiance with staff that paralleled family. The combination of a hip, urban environment with quality food that was affordable were the ingredients needed to bring the idea of Ricardo Steak House to life. When the restaurant’s doors opened in July 2004, New York City was introduced to a place where people from all over could savor a drink, indulge in a delicious meal and have a great time.
What makes Ricardo different from other steakhouses is that from the time the doors open to the minute we close, it’s SHOWTIME. Our guests are comfortably seated while captivated by the energy of our open kitchen. They watch as our chefs create masterpieces right before their eyes and while waiting for their food, they can sing along to their favorite tunes mixed by our very own DJs.
At Ricardo Steak House, the trendiness of Downtown blends the rich culture of East Harlem by the art deco architecture of the restaurant. Patrons are treated to the sight of exposed brick walls adorned with local artwork and candle-lit tables, which give even the most casual meeting an intimate feel. We have created a very versatile environment that is full of energy and has a little something for everyone.
